The method involves estimating conditions e.g. drift angle, of a motor vehicle according to the speed of the vehicle, rate of yaw e.g. rotation speed of the vehicle around its center of gravity along a vertical axis, steering lock angle of rear wheels and previous information of the wheel chamber, of the vehicle. A chamber angle threshold is elaborated according to the speed of the vehicle and estimate conditions, and the elaborated threshold is transmitted to a distinct system of a wheel chamber control system. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a wheel chamber controlling system for a motor vehicle (2) a motor vehicle comprising a chassis and a wheel chamber.
