Provided is an oxygen reduction electrode for a fuel cell, which increases oxygen concentration in an electrode, inhibits a flooding phenomenon caused by an electrolyte, and improves the quality of a fuel cell. The oxygen reduction electrode comprises: a collector; a gas diffusion layer; and a catalyst layer comprising carbon on which at least one catalyst is supported. The catalyst layer further comprises at least one metalloporphyrin derivative represented by the following formula 1. In the formula 1, each of R1, R3, R5 and R7 independently represents a C1-C20 alkyl; each of R2, R4, R6 and R8 independently represents a C2-C20 carboxylalkyl or C2-C20 alkylene, and at least one of them is a C2-C20 carboxylalkyl and at least one of them is a C2-C20 alkylene; M is Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Sn or Cu; X- is an anion; and n is 2, 3 or 4. |
