<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves evaluating a reliability level defining integrity of a host platform based on received integrity measurement, reference value or integrity rule stored in a portable electronic device, where a security module such as trusted platform, produces an integrity measure of components of the platform. The reliability level is indicated by an indicator through the electronic device. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a portable electronic device for evaluating a reliability level of a platform (2) a computer program stored in the portable electronic device for evaluating the reliability level. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for evaluating a reliability level of a host platform e.g. personal computer, through a portable electronic device (claimed) e.g. chip card, USB key or universal integrated circuit card, where the platform is connected to a mobile terminal such as personal digital assistant or smartphone. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method evaluates the platform`s reliability level that is acquired not only by binary values, so as to strictly refuse the access to the platform.
