#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a hygrometer (2) to generate a signal representing relative humidity of the air surrounding a motor vehicle. Current detectors (3-6) generate respectively signals representing a lit or unlit operation of a rear fog lamp, a side marker light, a main headlight and a front fog lamp of the vehicle. A processing and controlling device (C) processes the signals from the hygrometer and from the detectors, and generates an alert signal indicating that the monitored lamp does not operate according to the predetermined environment conditions. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a lamp operation`s environmental inadaptability indicating device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for indicating an operation, in-adapted to the predetermined environmental conditions e.g. fog, of a lamp e.g. rear and front fog lamps, side marker light and main headlamp, of a motor vehicle e.g. private car and industrial vehicle, (claimed), while driving during day, at night and under constable sky. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The device permits to effectively indicate to the driver of the motor vehicle that the operation of a lamp of his vehicle is not adapted to the predetermined conditions of the environment. The device allows to aid driving in the direction where conditions are favorable or un-favorable to the presence of fog, and alerts the driver of the situations so that he can light or extinguish the fog lamps. The assistance in driving, in which the driver guards the hand, permits to be tolerant on the alert threshold. The device aids driving by preventing the driver who is likely to be endangered and to endanger the other road users by omitting the lighting of the fog lamps, thus ensuring safety. The device ensures safety even if the situation is least critical than in the presence of fog. The device allows to increase the luminosity of the fog lamps in order to improve the driving comfort of the other road users.
