A terminal demodulation apparatus of an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) system and a method for demodulating a mixed received signal in a subcarrier allocation type are provided to reduce power consumption by reading and demodulating only necessary information. A front memory unit(410) receives and stores a frame reception signal including a pilot subcarrier and a data subcarrier. A FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) unit(420) transforms a frame reception signal of the front memory unit and outputs a data symbol. A scramble code generation unit(430) generates and outputs a scramble code. A rear memory unit(440) receives and stores the descrambled subcarrier by multiplying the data symbol of the FFT unit by the scramble code of the scramble code generation unit. A demodulation unit(490) demodulates the descrambled subcarrier outputted from the rear memory unit.
