<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound-insulating ventilation fan hood with superior design, and a high sound-insulating effect. <P>SOLUTION: In an inner face of the sound-insulating ventilation fan hood, a multiplicity of chevron protrusions 56 are provided on a surface as sound absorbing materials 36. By attaching an object having a multiplicity of recessed parts 56 between the chevron protrusions, a sound absorbing material surface area of the sound-insulating ventilation fan hood inner face can be provided larger than a conventional one, and a sound insulating effect can be improved. By manufacturing the sound absorbing material 36 by a flexible material, it can be attached not only to a plane but also to a curved surface along a face, and curves can be used in an outline of the sound-insulating ventilation fan hood to manufacture a hood with a good appearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
