<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method by which stable actuator control and reading of data can be performed even when irradiation power to an optical disk is changed. <P>SOLUTION: When laser power irradiating the optical disk is changed while receiving the return light returned from the optical disk by irradiating the optical disk with laser and carrying out generation of a control signal and a read signal, disengagement of servo and the number of read errors of data due to fluctuations of laser power are decreased and change operation of laser power in a stable state can be obtained by changing the power change from the power before switching to the switching target in accordance with the lapse of time, and changing the gain and offset of various signal generation circuits interlocked with the switching of the laser power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
