<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte providing a battery suppressing generation of gas and capacity degradation in high-temperature storage while keeping a high cycle characteristic, and also to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery manufactured by using the electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte containing an electrolyte and a nonaqueous solvent dissolving it is characterized by that the nonaqueous electrolyte contains a compound represented by a general formula (1) at a concentration of 0.001-5 wt.%. R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>are each a 1-12C alkyl group, a 2-12C alkenyl group, a 6-12C aryl group or a 7-12C aralkyl group, or R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>form a ring by being bonded to each other; R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>and a connection group formed by bonding them to each other may have an ether bond in a chain; R<SB>2</SB>is a 2-12C bivalent connection group containing an ether linkage; and R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>may be substituted by fluorine atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
