DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, DOCUMENT DISPOSAL APPARATUS, AND DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system capable of strictly managing documents such as important documents or confidential documents printed for output, until they are finally disposed of; a document disposal apparatus; and a document management method.

SOLUTION: The document management system comprises a document management server 1 for managing the output state and the disposal state of printed matter in association with a document ID; a printer 2, an electronic blackboard 3 and an MFP 4, for outputting the printed matter having the document ID; and a network shredder 5 for disposing of the printed matter and having a reading means for reading the document ID and a disposal notification means for notifying the document management server 1 of the disposal of the printed matter having the document ID read by the reading means.
