<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily copy an image without deteriorating image quality. <P>SOLUTION: When printing the image, image data used for printing are stored on a recording medium and information capable of specifying said image data (specification information) is printed while being incorporated into at least a part of the image. When copying the image, at least a part of the image is read to acquire the specified information and on the basis of the acquired information, the image data are read. The resultant image data are then used to print the image. Thus, the image can be printed with completely the same image quality and since it is not necessary to read the entire image, the image can be speedily copied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
