PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard navigation system capable of detecting the own vehicle position highly precisely even at the spot with tilt and consequently capable of guiding the own vehicle to the destination by detecting the absolute tilt angle. SOLUTION: The navigation system comprises: the absolute tilt angle calculation means 32 for calculating the absolute tilt angle being the absolute tilt angle of own vehicle to the travelling direction; and the correction means 33 for correcting the sensitivity of the gyro-sensor 6 corresponding to the absolute tilt angle calculated by the absolute angle calculation means 32.
