PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid tube through which waste ink can be normally discharged into a waste-liquid retention part, and an inkjet printer. SOLUTION: The waste liquid tube 12 is used for sending out the waste ink, ejected from a droplet ejecting head of the inkjet printer 100, to the waste-liquid retention part. An opening 12a, on the side of the waste-liquid retention part 14, of the waste liquid tube is formed in a shape which makes the waste ink partially retained in the waste liquid tube.
