PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device of a glossy cylindrical surface capable of automatically inspecting the surface flaw of a product having the glossy cylindrical surface, increased in inspection precision and inspection speed and capable of performing inspection on the line of a mass-production process. SOLUTION: The inspection device of the glossy cylindrical surface is equipped with a table (a) on which an inspection target having the glossy cylindrical surface is placed in an erected state so as to be rotatable around its axial center, the rod-shaped floodlight projection part (b) positioned on the lateral side of the inspection target and arranged so as to be inclined with respect to the center axis of the inspection target, a camera (c) arranged in the vicinity of the floodlight projection part to photograph the inspection target, an image processing means (d) for extracting the regular reflection region of the light, which is emitted from the floodlight projection part, from the image data photographed by the camera and a judge means (e) for detecting the surface flaw of the inspection target on the basis of the regular reflection region acquired by the image processing means.
