PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake device capable of increasing strength and durability by increasing the torsional rigidity of a packing plate. SOLUTION: In this drum brake device 31, a mount bracket 35 installed on a vehicle body is so formed that a second flange part 45 is formed to extend a part of the outer peripheral edge of a first flange part 43 from a tubular part 41 at its center to the radial outer side of a drive shaft, and to which an anchor pin 11 is fixed is extended in the radial outer direction of the drive shaft to approximately align the extension directions of the first flange part 43 and the second flange part 45 from the center of the tubular part 41 with each other. A virtual line 49 passing through the center of the tubular part 41 and the anchor pin 11 is set to be inserted between a plurality of vehicle fixing mounting holes 45a formed in the mount bracket 35.
