The flashlight has a conductive barrel for receiving a battery. A conductive tail and a head cap are detachably coupled to rear and front ends of the barrel respectively. A lamp module (260) has an insulating substrate with a light emitting diode (LED) at a front portion of an insulation case. A collimator lens (230) is assembled into an inner portion of the case between a transparent window and the substrate. The head cap has a transparent window for radiating a light on a front surface. The insulation case has a front end inserted into the conductive head cap and a slot formed at an outer wall of the case. The U-shaped connecting conductor is inserted into the substrate to electrically connect an anode electrode of the LED to a metal layer. The collimator lens is assembled to forwardly refract light radiated from the LED.
