METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RESOURCE SHARING AMONG PEERS IN DISTRIBUTED PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKING

A method and system for resource sharing among peers in distributed peer-to-peer networking, said system including at least one peer and at least one central service unit, resource sharing among said peers being achieved by the following steps: sending description information and location information of shared resources to the central service unit from at least one peer which issues shared resources; issuing description information of shared resources in distributed peer-to-peer networking from the central service unit; sending a resource sharing request to the central service unit based on said description information of shared resources from at least one peer which requests shared resources; sending the location information of shared resources from the central service unit in response to said resource sharing request to said peer requesting shared resources; making a peer-to-peer connection from at least one aforementioned peer which requests shared resources to at least one aforementioned peer which issues shared resources based on said location information of shared resources, and then starting the resource sharing process; after said resource sharing process is finished, reporting sharing results back to the central service unit from said peers which request or issue shared resources; according to said sharing results report, settling fees by the central service unit with at least one peer participating in resource sharing.
