A color calibration processor (1) comprises a color set acquiring section (2), an area detecting section (4), and a calibration processing section (5). The color set acquiring section (2) acquires a color set including a source color and a reference color from an image obtained by an imaging apparatus, the area detecting section (4) detects a color calibration object area having color information similar to the source color, and the calibration processing section (5) calibrates color information on the color calibration object area into color information on the reference color. Consequently, color calibration processing can be carried out at high speed and the volume of information prepared previously for color calibration processing can be reduced.
