A method for selectively reproducing titles in an optical disc device is provided to search titles of audio music, having the length above the predetermined data length. When an optical disc is inserted and seated into a device(S10), a microcomputer controls the operation of a reproducing system, reads the navigation information recorded in a specific area of the optical disc and downloads the read information to a memory(S11). In case a title selection reproducing operation is requested by a user(S12), the microcomputer searches the downloaded navigation information, confirms the data lengths of the corresponding titles included to each title information, sums the data lengths and calculates the mean data length.
