<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the conductivity of an interconnector made of MTiO<SB>3</SB>ceramic (M represents at least one selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba) and to enhance efficiency of a cell. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell is equipped with: a plurality of cells 6 interconnectors 7 for electrically connecting one adjacent cell to other cell. The cell 6 is equipped with an electrolyte membrane 4, an air electrode 5, and a fuel electrode 3. The interconnector 7 contains material represented by (M<SB>1-x</SB>D<SB>x</SB>)TiO<SB>3</SB>. M is selected from the group comprising Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba. D is selected from the group comprising rare earth elements, Al, and Cr. X is 0<x≤0.2.
