<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag and an airbag device having a left half side bag and a right half side bag capable of sufficiently absorbing impact when an occupant is received. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag 10 has the left half side bag 12 inflated at a front left side of an occupant; the right half side bag 14 inflated at a front right side of the occupant; and a base end chamber 16 for communicating one end sides of the left half side bag 12 and the right half side bag 14. A connection band 18 of the left half side bag 12 and the right half side bag 14 is arranged at height P becoming a lower position than an intermediate position M in a vertical direction of the left half side bag 12 and the right half side bag 14 in the state that the airbag 10 is completely inflated. In the state that the airbag 10 is inflated, circumferential length in the vertical direction of a left side 50L of the left half side bag 12 is shorter than circumferential length in the vertical direction of a left outside panel 60 at a vehicle body central side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
