<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element fixing structure that simplifies and ensures mutual assembling and fixing of optical elements such as an element package and a receptacle. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing structure of optical elements is characterized in that it is provided with an optical element B and a housing A having a recess 1 for storing the optical element B at a prescribed position and having an optical window 2. In addition, on a face oppositely facing the optical window 2 in the storing recess 1 of the housing A, there is provided at least one nearly linear projected rail 4A that is roughly parallel to the inserting direction of the optical element B. On the bottom face of the optical element B, a recessed groove 5B is provided engaging with the projected rail 4A when the optical element B is inserted into the housing A. Furthermore, as the characteristic of the fixing structure, the recessed groove 5B is composed of a first engaging part X which comes in contact with the side of the projected rail 4A installed at a different position longitudinally and a second engaging part Y which comes in contact with the upper face of the projected rail 4A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
