<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of avoiding simultaneous supply of currents to both solenoid switches without a large increase in number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A paper feed roller 21 and a resist roller 25 have dedicated clutch mechanism 60A and 60B with solenoid switches, respectively, and make and break a connection of transmission of power from a driving source to control a rotational state. Operation start timing is so determined that an operation of the solenoid switch 65A on the side of the paper feed roller 21 which is started to convey a next form after one form is conveyed is started after the operation of the solenoid switch 65B on the side of the resist roller 25 for the one form is completed. The simultaneous supply of exciting currents from the power source to the solenoid switches 65A and 65B of both the clutch mechanisms 60A and 60B is therefore avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
