PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system and its control method using identification information capable of providing a license, by accurately acquiring operation time, by preventing the incorrect setting. SOLUTION: This computer system 1 has PBX 2, a terminal unit 3 and a control server 4. The PBX 2 has an outside call control means, an inside call control means, a connecting means, a storage means storing the identification information and an enciphered file, a decoding means decoding the enciphered file, a comparing means comparing the identification information with the decoded enciphered file, and a control means. The terminal unit 3 reads out and transmits the identification information from the PBX 2. The control server 4 has an issuing means issuing the enciphered file corresponding to the identification information by requesting authentication when the terminal unit 3 logs in and a database means associatively storing issuing date to the identification information.
