PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "image reproducer" capable of reducing complicated labor and a time for retrieving a desired scene from a recorded image. SOLUTION: The image reproducer retrieves a partial scene from an image in which music corresponds to at least a part of the image. The image reproducer has an image/music storage 1 storing image data required for reproducing the image and the music and music data and a retrieval-condition setting section 3 setting retrieval conditions capable of specifying the place of the reproduction of the music. The image reproducer further has a music retriever 4 specifying the place of the reproduction of the music satisfying retrieval conditions set by the retrieval-condition setting section 3, and an image retriever 5 specifying the partial scene of the image corresponding to the place of the reproduction of the music specified by the music retriever 4.
