PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote heat diffusion of a heat generating component regardless of a dimension of a heat radiating plate, to simplify design for heat radiation, to reduce cost and to miniaturize a controller. SOLUTION: This control device of a water heater comprises a combustion part 1, a DC fan 2 supplying combustion air to the combustion portion 1, and a control part 3 for controlling rotational frequency of the DC fan 2. The control part 3 is provided with a control element 4 for supplying power source to the DC fan 2, and the control element 4 is mounted on a ventilating flue of the DC fan 2.
