PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control program rewriting device capable of safely and certainly carrying out elevator control program rewiring work, without requiring an engineer of an elevator maintenance company to go to a building where the elevator is installed or making the elevator impossible to be used. SOLUTION: A means is provided, which executes elevator control program rewriting work after checking the elevator state from a monitoring center device 31 capable of checking a present state of the elevator 1 and a state in a car 2 from a remote place by using an operating state of the elevator 1, a picture in the car taken from a security camera 3 in the car 2, and a calling device installed in the car 2; and reports a rewritten result to the monitoring center device 31.
