PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant crash protection device with high reliability not performing erroneous action even in the excessive water-covered state exceeding an action insurance range in the occupant crash protection device for the vehicle activated based on outputs of first and second sensors and capable of being activated even if the output of the second sensor is stopped. SOLUTION: An airbag device 1 is provided with a floor sensor 10; a low speed collision determination part 114; the first and second front sensors 12, 13; and a low speed collision invalid signal production part 15. When communication of the first front sensors 12, 13 is stopped, the low speed collision invalid signal production part 15 outputs a low speed collision invalid signal. When the low speed collision invalid signal is outputted, the low speed collision determination part 114 stops the output of the low speed collision ON signal regardless of an analog signal of the floor sensor.
