PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint spraying-pressure control method and a paint spraying-pressure control device where, when, mainly, the jetting conditions of a paint are changed or varied, a proper atomization state can be maintained, coating preparation time therefor can be reduced, productivity can be improved, and further, proper spraying pressure can be automatically calculated from the other coating conditions, so as to perform control even without requiring special techniques. SOLUTION: When applied paint data and coater conditional data regarding an atomizer 30 are input, using these data and the standard pressure value in the spraying of the atomizer 30, according to automatic calculation by an automatic calculation means 11 previously incorporated in accordance with the kind of the atomizer 30, proper spraying pressure value is obtained, and paint spraying pressure control for the atomizer 30 is performed via an electropneumatic valve 20 having a spraying pressure control function.
