<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent confidential information included in image data from being leaked through a print data log. <P>SOLUTION: A whole controller 116 receives a PDL control statement configuring print data from a command analyzer 115, and sees whether the received control statement includes user content data. Here, the user content data is that for characters, images and figures, and also that for directly representing user information to be printed with the print data. The received control statement is written in an auxiliary storage 15 as it is as a print data log when the control statement does not include the user content data, and when it includes the user content data, the user content data in the control statement is replaced with dummy data stored in advance in a dummy data storage 121, and is stored in the auxiliary storage 15 as a print data log. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
