<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle shield device for covering a needle after the use. <P>SOLUTION: The medical needle shield device, for example, includes a first member such as a syringe outer casing having the needle attached thereto. For example, a second member such as a shield is attached to the first member. The shield can be operated between the first position where the needle is exposed and the second position where the needle is covered. The outer casing is attached with a lock and the shield is movable slidably along the outer surface of the lock.
