<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically driving unit for a vehicle, obtaining ample driving force with improved responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: Front wheels are driven by an engine 20, and rear wheels are driven by a DC electric motor 30. A motor generator 40 generates driving force to start the engine 20, and also it is driven by the engine 20 to generate electric power. A single inverter of a motor controller 60 is connected between the generator 40 and the motor 30.
