<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flashlight in which batteries of various sizes can be housed. <P>SOLUTION: A battery housing cylinder 10 is provided in a battery storage case 5. When a size C battery or a size AA battery smaller than a size D battery having a predetermined maximum size is housed in the battery storage case 5, the battery is kept at a center position by a battery holding piece provided in a diameter variation coping means to project in an inner cylinder 21 of the battery housing cylinder 10, and a negative electrode contacting terminal 15 is moved by a height variation coping means according to the variation of the housed battery in height. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
