<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the durability and life of bearings by increasing workability in manufacturing carriers and increasing the circulation performance of a lubricating oil. <P>SOLUTION: The carriers 30, 39 of planetary gear reduction mechanisms 25, 34 are fixedly installed on a cylindrical spindle 15 so that the rotation of the carriers 30, 39 can be arrested by the cylindrical spindle 15. An oil groove 59 is formed between the final stage carrier 39 and the cylindrical spindle 15 at their lowest portions to flow down the lubricating oil 100 in the cylindrical spindle 15 to a wheel mounting tube 19 side through the oil groove 59. An oil hole 60 is drilled at the annular projected part 15A of the cylindrical spindle 15 at a position lower than the first stage carrier 30, and the lubricating oil 100 is allowed to flow between the front and rear of the carrier 30 through the oil hole 60 to make equal oil levels in oil sumps 57 and 58 to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
