PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication apparatus capable of presenting a determination material for coping with the propriety of line quality to a user. SOLUTION: A line quality grasping means 31 of the image communication apparatus 10 grasps the quality of a communication line, and a progress grasping means 32 grasps a progress situation regarding the transmission and reception of image data. A display means (a display unit 20) displays the line quality and the progress situation.
