PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate azimuth calculation in a short time from the execution start of azimuth measurement. SOLUTION: The azimuth measurement device comprises a correction value acquiring means for acquiring surrounding magnetism and acquiring a correction value from the acquired acquiring result, and an azimuth arithmetic means for calculating azimuth based on the surrounding magnetism and the correction value acquired by the correction value acquiring means. A demand signal for demanding acquirement of the azimuth is input at the first time interval. When the signal is input by this input, the magnetism is acquired at the second time interval shorter than the first time interval, the correction value is updated based on the acquired result, and control is performed so as to calculate the azimuth based on the acquired surrounding magnetism and the sequentially updated correction value.
