PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrostatic bearing in which cost for working bearing components is not increased, and adjustment in the loading process is not required. SOLUTION: The hydrostatic bearing 1 has a constitution where a radial bearing part 3 and a thrust bearing part 4 are axially coupled to each other. In the bearing parts 3, 4, orifice groups 15, 25A, 25B are formed by bringing close two each of orifices 16, 26A, 26B. Referring to the intervals in positioning the orifices 16, 26A, 26B in one of the orifice groups 15, 25A, 25B, the interval is set smaller than the distance between the orifices 16, 26A, 26B in the adjacent other orifice groups 15, 25A, 25B.
