PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to perform a work while holding eyelashes by one hand and viewing from a near part in using a hand mirror and to shorten time. SOLUTION: A tool for assisting make-up includes left and right absorbent pads 2, 3 arranged at both the ends of a shaft 1 when the shaft 1 is horizontally placed. When the shaft is bent at the elastic center part 4 with grooves to be marks as a guide, the upper surface 5 of the left pad meets the upper surface 7 of the right pad. When bending is performed in an opposite direction, the lower surface 6 of the left pad meets the lower surface 8 of the right pad. Accordingly, the fine work to hold the eyelashes or hair is performed by one hand through the use of a disposable tool. Consequently, only applied mascara is held by the tool to be wiped off without soiling fingers and the circumference of an eye.
