PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a game state such as a bonus notification in an utterly new and intelligible mode for a player in a slot machine. SOLUTION: When a bonus role is internally formed in a role formation lottery and a game state becomes a state possible of winning the bonus role, this slot machine emits a prescribed odor corresponding to the bonus role and at the same time displays a performance picture suggesting odor to appeal the both of the olfactory sense and the visual sense of the player and notify the winning of the bonus role as the result of the role formation lottery.
