The implant (1) includes at least two retaining bar sections (3) joined together by a connecting rod section (4). The retaining bar sections have free ends (5) that can be fixed to the bone fragments for repair. The implant is formed with a C-shaped cross-section, in which the angles (w,w') between retaining bar sections and connecting rod section are set between 75 and 90 degrees. The free ends are formed pointing inwardly from the retaining bar sections. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) Arrangement of the clamping implant; and (2) Driving device for the clamping implant.
