The invention relates to a device for storing and transmitting identification data, which is embodied in the form of an electronic passport and can be largely used for identifying a person with the aid of electronic passport and visas papers. Said invention makes it possible to read out data via a radio channel on a frequency of 13.56 MHz from a wireless smart-microcontroller provided with an energy-independent electrical reprogrammable memory (EEPROM) equal to or greater than 32 Kbit and to increase the counterfeit protection by introducing into the electronic passport and visas document a radiofrequency identification device (RFID), whose radio channel frequency is equal to 125 kHz or 134.2 kHz, transponder metals for identification based on a nuclear magnetic resonance, whose frequency ranges from 1 MHz to 1GHz and on the redistribution of functions between the device elements. For this purpose, according to one of embodiments, the inventive device comprises the wireless smart-microcontroller, a transponder metal and the radiofrequency identification device incorporated into the passport and visas document, an external reader of radiofrequency identifiers and a transponder metal reader. In the other embodiments, the inventive device comprises an additional interface matching unit.
