A light source device using a dual lamp in a DLP(Digital Light Processing) system is provided to project light generated from two lamps to a screen in a DLP system used for a projector and a projection television system. A light source device(200) includes first and second lamps(210,220) generating light, and a reflecting member(240). The reflecting member reflects light generated from the first lamp to a light tunnel(230) through a first reflection plane(241) and reflects light generated from the second lamp to the light tunnel through a second reflection plane(242). The light tunnel is located between the first and second reflection planes, having a predetermined distance from the reflecting member. The first lamp is located, having a predetermined distance from the first reflection plane, at a predetermined angle with regard to the first reflection plane. The second lamp is placed at a predetermined angle with regard to the second reflection plane, having a predetermined distance from the second reflection plane.
