摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional power transmission wherein abrupt variation of torque and impact noise according to the operation of a stopper mechanically limiting the relative rotation of the turbine shell side to the turbine hub side of the output side rotating element of a fluid transmission device installed between the output shaft of a drive source and the input shaft of a transmission. <P>SOLUTION: In this power transmission controller, a torque converter 11 is installed between the output of an engine 10 and the input shaft 28 of a CVT 13. The torque converter comprises a damper 11E installed between the turbine shell 32 side and the turbine hub 34 side of the output side rotating element and allowing the relative rotation thereof and having a coiled spring 48 elastically deforming along the relative rotation thereof and a stopper 11F mechanically limiting the relative rotation exceeding a predetermined amount of the turbine shell 32 side to the turbine hub 34 side.
