<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To delay resumption of a discontinued recording job after an interrupting recording job ends, in the case where sheets of recording paper before and after the interruption recording are fed from the same paper feeding section in an image recording apparatus that records images on sheets of recording paper fed from the paper feeding section. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device (digital multifunction machine) 1 includes a job interruption means 3a that discontinues a recording job and allows the interruption of another recording job, and a job resumption control means 3b that controls the resumption of the discontinued recording job when the interrupting recording job ends. The job resumption control means 3b delays the resumption of the discontinued recording job in the case where a sheet of recording paper for the interrupting recording job and a sheet of recording paper for the discontinued recording job are fed from the same paper feeding section (e.g., manual paper feed tray). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
