<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive detection method of soybeans from which 7S globulin α subunit as one of soybean storage protein is deleted. <P>SOLUTION: The detection method of 7S globulin α subunit-deleted soybeans comprises detecting insertion of four adenine bases into No.215-217 sequence AAA of a first exon of CG-2 gene (7Sα gene) in a nucleic acid sample derived from soybean.
