<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization method and apparatus reducing a necessary amount of water, obtaining sulfuric acid of a high concentration, and simply separating sulfuric acid from hydrogen bromide, by efficiently converting sulfur in gas containing sulfur oxides into sulfuric acid. <P>SOLUTION: This desulfurization method and apparatus are for gas containing sulfur oxides, in which SO<SB>2</SB>, gaseous bromine and steam in the gas are efficiently reacted in a gas phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
