PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus extracting binomial relation at high performance even for a complicated problem.

SOLUTION: In the binomial relation extraction apparatus, a solution-origin pair extraction part 12 extracts origins of cases from a teacher data storage part 11 for storing teacher data including cases to which solutions indicating objects to be extracted in binomial relation appearing in text data are applied, and generates a pair of a set of cases and the solution. A machine learning part 13 mechanically learns what solution is obtained by what set of origins in the group by a prescribed mechanical learning procedure and stores the learned result information in a learned result storage part 14. A candidate extraction part 15 extracts candidates of binomial relation from the text data 2 and an origin extraction part 16 extracts a set of origins of the binomial relation candidates. A solution estimation part 17 estimates the degree of easily becoming solutions in the set of origins of the binomial relation candidates on the basis of the learned result information, and a binomial relation extraction part 18 extracts a binomial relation candidate having a high estimation degree of a correct solution from the estimated result.
