PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric operating device of a circuit breaker which can distinguish whether tripping of a breaker is caused by over current or not. SOLUTION: In the electric operating device 1 of the circuit breaker, when the circuit breaker 30 is tripped by a voltage tripping device 10 and by a manual trip button 53, the circuit breaker 30 is automatically reset, and when the circuit breaker 30 is tripped by over current tripping, the circuit breaker 30 is not automatically reset. Thereby, it can be distinguished whether the tripping is caused by over current or not based on whether the circuit breaker 30 is automatically reset or not. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
