PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner that can suppress hot offset while keeping low temperature fixing property. SOLUTION: The toner contains a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the binder resin used contains a urethane-modified polyester resin having≤10 wt.% tetrahydrofuran insoluble fraction. The melt viscosityη<SB>95</SB>of the toner at 95°C is specified to 1.0×10<SP>4</SP>to 1.0×10<SP>6</SP>Pa s. The ratio (A) of the melt viscosityη<SB>92</SB>of the toner at 92°C to the melt viscosityη<SB>100</SB>at 100°C, and the ratio (B) of the melt viscosityη<SB>100</SB>at 100°C to the melt viscosityη<SB>110</SB>at 110°C satisfy formula (1): 0.45<B/A<0.93, wherein A representsη<SB>92</SB>/η<SB>100</SB>and B representsη<SB>100</SB>/η<SB>110</SB>.
