PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving crack resistance of a groove bottom of a circumferential direction groove without hindering high-speed durability. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, at least two layers of belt cover layer 8 winding a reinforcing cord f in the circumferential direction of the tire are disposed on the outer peripheral side of the belt layers 7A, 7B of a tread part 1, and a circumferential direction groove 11 extending to the circumferential direction of the tire is provided on the tread surface 10. The pneumatic tire is composed of at least one layer belt full cover layer 8A wherein at least two layers of belt cover layer 8 continuously extend to both edge parts 7a, 7b of the belt layers 7A, 7B, and at least one layer divided belt full cover layer 8B which extends to both edge parts 7a, 7b of the belt layers 7A, 7B, and is made to the split structure by lacking a part positioned at the inner peripheral side of the circumferential direction groove 11.
