PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely support a reaper, a feed chain and a chain rail receiving and supporting the feed chain and to rotate and transfer both the feed chain and the chain rail to the outside on the left lateral side. SOLUTION: A combine harvester is composed as follows. The combine harvester is equipped with a reaper 10 installed freely rotatably to the outside on the lateral side on one side with a rotating apparatus 10a, the chain rail 4c for receiving the feed chain 4a of a thresher 3 for taking over reaped grain culms from the reaper 10, transferring and threshing the reaped grain culms, a nipping rod 4b and an auxiliary transfer chain 8 provided on the right side of the side of the transfer starting end of the feed chain 4a. The combine harvester is further equipped with a chain rotating apparatus 5 having a rotation fulcrum (A) freely rotating the side of the transfer terminal end to the outside on the lateral side of a machine body with the side of the transfer starting end of the feed chain 4a as the center of rotation and a locking apparatus 7 for fixing the rotation of the feed chain 4a installed at the transfer terminal end. In the combine harvester, a frame 5a for supporting the feed chain of the chain rotating apparatus 5 is mounted through the lower side of the auxiliary transfer chain 8 and installed in the chain rail 4c.
